Why we do what we do
Hygge. A small word with a big meaning. The Danes invented it, we fell in love with it. It describes that hard-to-grasp feeling when everything is right: the light, the warmth, the calm.
The idea was born on a trip to Copenhagen. A small apartment that had nothing special about it, and yet everything. Candles on the windowsill. A soft blanket on the bed. The feeling of not being in an accommodation, but in a home.
So we started doing exactly that. Every one of our apartments grows out of the same question: would we ourselves love arriving here?

That is what guests write to us. And that is exactly why we get up every morning. Not star categories or amenity lists, but how a room is meant to feel, that is what makes the difference.
